I wanted to represent myself in a unique and meaningful way, so I sharpened 22 pencils for 6,300 seconds- each second representing a day of my life. The pencil shavings symbolize my love and commitment to art while also physically representing my face. I didn't glue the piece down so when it was done I took a blow-dryer and sent it on its way.
